Olalook ("we", "us") makes handmade costume headpieces and accessories, sold at olalooks.com and on Etsy. This page explains what information we collect when you visit or order from us, and how we use it.
Order information. When you buy through a "Buy now" button, you're taken to Stripe's own secure checkout to complete payment. Stripe collects your name, shipping address, email, and payment details directly — we never see or store your card number. We receive the order details we need to make and ship your piece (name, shipping address, email, and what you ordered).
Messages you send us. If you email us or message us on Etsy, we keep your email address and whatever you tell us, so we can reply and help with your order.
Website usage data. Like most sites, we automatically collect some technical information when you browse — see Cookies & analytics below.
We use Google Tag Manager to run a small set of tools that help us understand our traffic and show relevant ads. These set cookies or similar technology in your browser:
We don't use a Pinterest tracking script — only structured product information ("rich pins") that Pinterest reads from our pages.
You can block or delete these cookies in your browser's settings, opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or manage ad personalization through your Google or Meta account settings. Blocking cookies won't stop you from browsing or ordering — it just means we'll know less about how you found us.
We don't sell your personal information. We share only what's needed to run the shop, with:
We keep order records as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes. Messages are kept as long as they're useful for helping you, and cleared out periodically after that.
Wherever you're ordering from, you can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop using it for marketing. If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, this reflects your rights under GDPR; if you're in a US state with its own privacy law, similar rights apply there too. Olalook isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
